EXPRESSIONS UNLEASHED AT ENGLISH CREATIVE WRITING COMPETITION @ UNITYÂ

Unity College, Lucknow, with its keen intent on nurturing and polishing budding writers, has always provided them with a platform to hone their writing skills. An Inter-House English Creative Writing Competition was organised by the Junior Section of the College on 15th July, 2023. The students from classes I to V participated in the event with immense zeal and enthusiasm. The competition witnessed an overwhelming response from our young writers, who expressed their thoughts eloquently on an array of topics. They gave full expression to their creative ideas and penned down their thoughts coherently.

The topics that were popular among the students were: ‘Why should we use magic words?’, ‘Should youngsters upload pictures on social networking sites?’, ‘Imagine you are a superhero; What powers would you have and how would you use them to help others?’, ‘Do you think schools should give homework? Why or why not?’, ‘Last night, you travelled into space; what did you see?’ and many more.

The competition was a resounding success, fostering creativity and encouraging the students to articulate their ideas effectively
