Career counseling plays a crucial role in navigating the vast array of career opportunities available today. It helps individuals make informed decisions about education and career paths while developing strategies to achieve their academic and professional goals. With the guidance of counselors, aspiring individuals can discover the most suitable career options based on their strengths, interests, and other decisive factors.
Unity College organized the ‘21st Century Skills’ career counselling program on 16th May, 2023, in collaboration with Rishihood University. The program aimed to provide valuable career guidance and cultivate impactful leaders in various domains of life. Coordinated by Vice Principal Mr. Sachindra Bharti and Counselor Ms. Nisar Fatima, the session was attended by Class XII students from Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams.
The resource persons from Rishihood University emphasized the importance of upskilling, reskilling, and identifying one’s interests to choose a career that aligns with the future demands of the workforce and economy. They motivated the students to develop essential traits for becoming smart learners. Ms. Toral Shah, a renowned educator, founder of Drishya, Principal of Dominics Group of Institutions, and a Children’s Author and Storyteller, addressed the students’ queries during the interactive session.
