CISCE ZONAL TAEKWONDO COMPETITION

Unity College made its mark on the grand stage of the CISCE Zonal Taekwondo Championship, a highly esteemed event hosted with great zeal by Christ Church College. The echoes of determination and raw talent reverberated throughout the venue on 22nd August, 2023, as the participants showcased their martial prowess.

In a standout performance that left spectators in awe, Husain Mehndi, a formidable competitor from XI-B, etched his name in the annals of victory by securing the coveted Gold medal in the fiercely contested Under-17 Boys category, specifically in the over 78 kgs weight class. Husain's triumph was nothing short of awe-inspiring, a testament to his relentless dedication and remarkable skill in the art of Taekwondo.

Recognizing this remarkable feat, Principal Mr. Francis Castelino extended his heartfelt congratulations to Husain Mehndi and he also commended the Sports teacher Mr. Amir Ali for the guidance and mentorship. The Principal's words not only acknowledge the victory itself but also highlight the values of discipline, hard work, and sportsmanship that this accomplishment represents.
