Unity College's recent journey through the CISCE Regional Football Under 19 Tournament has been nothing short of extraordinary, showcasing the immense talent and dedication of its players. The team, hailing from Lucknow, progressed through the competition, making its way from the zonal level to the regional tournament held from 30th August to1st September, 2023.

Their journey was marked by a display of exceptional skills and unwavering sportsmanship, culminating in an exhilarating final match against Uttarakhand, hosted by St. George's College in Agra. Both teams exhibited outstanding teamwork and determination, making the final encounter a thrilling spectacle. While the Lucknow team fought valiantly, they secured a well-deserved Runner-Up position, showcasing their prowess on the field.
The remarkable performance of the Lucknow team did not go unnoticed. Two of their standout students, Mohd Laraib and Arham Haider, earned coveted spots in the National-Level Football Competition, a testament to their exceptional talent and hard work. Additionally, the College's Physical Training Instructor, Mr. Amir Ali, received the Certificate of Manager, acknowledging his role in guiding and supporting the team.
In recognition of their outstanding achievement, Principal Mr. Francis Castelino lauded the sports stars during the morning assembly. He presented them with Silver Medals and Certificates of Merit, a well-deserved honour that marks a significant milestone in their sporting careers.
