"Death with dignity is better than a life of humiliation”
In remembrance of the profound lessons of Muharram, an enlightening and meaningful activity was organized for our young learners at the Pre-Primary level on 8thSeptember, 2023.

On this sacred occasion, we aimed to instill the values of compassion, justice, and equality in our tiny toddlers. Just as Imam Hussain's message continues to inspire generations, our activities were designed to leave a lasting impression on our young minds.

Here are some highlights of the Moharram Activity:

Collage of Consciousness: The students of class Prep embarked on a creative journey by crafting a collage titled ‘No Junk Food in Tabarruk.’ This activity not only showcased their artistic skills but also aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of junk food. By using empty packets, they symbolized the need to be responsible for our dietary choices and promote healthier eating habits.

Mashq for Courage and Sacrifice: The students of class Upper Nursery engaged in a symbolic activity known as the ‘Mashq,’ reflecting on the immense courage and sacrifice made by Imam Hussain. This exercise served as a reminder of the importance of extending kindness, especially to those who are unjustly deprived. It also emphasized the significance of providing water to those in need, just as Hussain and his companions were denied it.

Candles of Humanity: In a touching gesture, the students of Lower Nursery crafted paper candles to illuminate the path of humanity. These candles symbolize the message of love, empathy, and compassion that Imam Hussain's legacy represents. 

Throughout these activities, our dedicated teachers played a pivotal role in imparting essential life lessons. They emphasized the importance of righteousness, kindness, even towards those considered as adversaries, bravery, and the significance of maintaining cleanliness during processions.

By engaging in these thoughtful activities, we hope to nurture not only the intellect but also the hearts of our young students, instilling in them the timeless values exemplified by Imam Hussain. These experiences will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression, guiding them towards a life of dignity, compassion, and social responsibility.
