Unity College, Lucknow, held a remarkable event on 24th August, 2023, which showcased the eloquence and talent of its students through a presentation of selected poems and declamation speeches. The distinguished guests included Mr. Amir Taqi, CEO of The Main Stay Foundation, and Mr. Jawwad Bahr al Uloom, Head of Risk Management of The Main Stay Foundation. College Secretary Mr. Najmul Hasan Rizvi, Jt. Secretary Dr. M. Talha, Principal Mr. Francis Castelino, Vice Principal Mr. Sachindra Bharti, and Headmistress Ms. Kainaat Mansoor also graced the occasion with their presence.
The program commenced with the soulful recitation of the Holy Quran. Following this, Principal, Mr. Francis Castelino, extended a warm welcome to all the distinguished guests. The event unfolded with delightful poems presented by the students of class 1, followed by the main highlight of the evening—the declamation speeches by students from classes III to V.
Mr. Amir Taqi praised the students for their wonderful performances and encouraged them to believe in their capabilities, emphasising that belief in oneself is the key to achieving any goal. The College Secretary, Mr. Najmul Hasan Rizvi, introduced the audience to the commendable work carried out by The Main Stay Foundation. Principal, Mr. Francis Castelino, highlighted the College’s holistic approach and achievements in sports.
The literary event successfully showcased the oratory skills of the students, providing a platform to express themselves confidently.
