In a collaborative effort between Unity College and CIMAP CSIR, an engaging Online Quiz centered on aromatic and medicinal plants was organized on Saturday, October 21, 2023. 

Students from classes X, XI & XII enthusiastically participated in the Quiz, transforming their learning experience into a fun and informative adventure. During the event, students were treated to a fascinating documentary showcasing the remarkable work conducted at CIMAP on various plant species. The culmination of their hard work led to ‘Team H’ emerging as the victorious squad.

The intellectual festivities didn't stop at the Quiz. After the competition, the students had the privilege of being addressed by Mr. Salim Khan, a distinguished drone pilot from CSIR. Mr. Khan illuminated the audience on the incredible world of drone technology and its indispensable role in the field of agriculture. His insights were not only informative but also eye-opening, providing students with a profound understanding of how drones can be harnessed to enhance the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants.

In conclusion, the event was a resounding success, seamlessly blending education with entertainment. The seamless coordination of the event was orchestrated by Vice Principal Mr. Sachindra Bharti, alongside Ms. Nisar Fatima, Ms. Huma Rizvi, and Mr. Mehboob Alam, all under the expert guidance of Principal Mr. Francis Castelino. Their efforts were further bolstered by the valuable support of Ma'am Pooja Sharma from CIMAP CSIR.

The students' active participation and engagement, coupled with the enlightening session on drone technology, left them with a richer appreciation for the world of aromatic and medicinal plants. Unity College, in collaboration with CIMAP CSIR, showcased an exemplary event that will be remembered as a milestone in the students' academic journey.
