On November 14, 2023, Unity College radiated joy and exuberance as it commemorated Children's Day with a vibrant showcase of performances and heartfelt messages dedicated to the well-being and happiness of our young members of society. The day commenced with an uplifting assembly led by teachers, featuring a poignant recitation of Surah Asr and a thoughtful explanation by Ms. SyedaKaneez Abbas. Emphasising the importance of duties before rights, she shed light on the responsibilities of children towards their parents and teachers, followed by a pledge to be exemplary students and conscientious citizens.

The atmosphere was further enlivened by the Teachers' Choir, a Disney Quiz, entertaining filmy dialogues, and Dumb-Charades, setting a joyous tone for the celebrations. Vice Principal Mr. Sachindra Bharti expertly anchored the special assembly, and Principal Mr. Francis Castelino concluded the event by warmly extending his wishes to the children, stressing the significance of nurturing each child's unique potential.

The highlight of the day was the distribution of delectable treats, ensuring that every child felt cherished and valued.

Meanwhile, the Pre-Primary section buzzed with excitement, marking a day of pure fun and merriment. The festivities began with a special assembly led by teachers, featuring quizzes, tongue twisters, and riddles that added an educational twist to the celebration.

The tiny tots immersed themselves in a myriad of class activities, from balloon-blowing to the thrill of bursting them, participating in a lively balloon race, mastering the hula hoop, crafting Children’s Day cards, dancing to musical tunes, and sharing delectable treats with classmates. The day's exuberance peaked with the delightful distribution of mini chocolates.

This eventful day beautifully captured the essence of Children's Day, dedicated to celebrating the innocence, potential, and aspirations of our future leaders.
