Unity College organised a stress management workshop for its class XI students on February 8, 2024. The event, facilitated by Times NIE in collaboration with Integral University, Lucknow, aimed to equip students with effective strategies to cope with the pressures of upcoming examinations.
Dr Bushra, from Integral University, delivered a comprehensive address on the nuances of stress, highlighting its potential physical and mental repercussions. Emphasising the importance of nipping it in the bud, she elaborated on proactive measures to prevent stress from escalating into chronic anxiety. She advocated for maintaining a positive outlook amidst challenges. Furthermore, she encouraged students to adopt disciplined study habits and effective exam preparation techniques from the outset.
Mr Saifuddin Siddiqui, Examination Executive, stressed on the significance of informed decision-making. He urged the students to thoroughly research their academic pursuits, including factors like fees and placement opportunities. He highlighted the accessibility of Integral University’s resources for seeking guidance on educational and career paths worldwide. Drawing inspiration from the remarkable journeys of icons like Dheerubhai Ambani and Sachin Tendulkar, Mr Siddiqui instilled confidence in students, emphasising that setbacks are not synonymous with defeat. He encouraged them to persevere with resilience and patience, trusting that success will eventually manifest at its own pace.
