Unity College is dedicated to fostering an environment of academic excellence and creative expression, providing students with opportunities to excel across various disciplines. In line with this commitment, a Creative Writing Competition for classes VI to IX and XI was organised on December 21, 2024, with an aim to cultivate a vibrant atmosphere of literary exploration and offer students a platform to unleash their creativity through the art of writing.
Participants were presented with a diverse range of stimulating topics carefully tailored to their grade levels. Among the most thought-provoking themes explored by the students were the significance of gratitude and its profound impact on happiness, the intriguing scenario of a week without the internet, and the vital importance of every voice in combating climate change. Additionally, topics delved into the wonders of artificial intelligence in daily life, the role of individuals in creating a greener community as eco-warriors, and a heartfelt recognition of the often-overlooked contributions of the unsung workers of society.
In addition to these themes, students were encouraged to compose articles, original stories, or poems. The entries showcased high standards with excellent content and rich language.
