UNITY ENGAGING IN ORGANIC FARMING

 

On February 7, 2025, a group of class IX-A, accompanied by Counsellor Ms Nisar Fatima Rizvi, visited the organic farm of Unity College near Charak Hospital.

 

The exciting visit provided students with a hands-on learning experience as they observed a variety of crops, including carrots, radishes, and aubergines, thriving under natural farming methods. They enthusiastically sowed ladyfinger seeds in the field under the expert guidance of Mr Nasir, the dedicated organic farmer. The students gained valuable insights into sustainable agriculture.

 

Overall, the visit proved to be an enriching and educational experience, fostering a deeper appreciation for organic farming practices.
