The Pre-Primary Section celebrated Rainbow Day on February 15, 2025, immersing children in a vibrant world of colours. Dressed in rainbow hues, the children engaged in fun, interactive activities designed to reinforce colour recognition and spark creativity.
The celebration focused on familiarising children with the seven rainbow colours, encouraging artistic expression, and fostering teamwork. Lower Nursery students explored colours through sponge-stick rainbow impressions. Upper Nursery children crafted rainbows by pasting colourful paper strips onto cloud cut-outs, developing fine motor skills. Prep students created handprint rainbows, meticulously arranging the colours: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.
Rainbow Day proved to be a joyful and enriching experience, allowing the young learners to appreciate the vibrant hues of nature while deepening their understanding of colour concepts. The event not only sparked creativity but also nurtured curiosity and engagement, making it a truly memorable celebration.
