The auspicious occasion of the Birth Anniversaries of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Jafar As-Sadiq (AS) was solemnly commemorated through a Special Assembly held on September 10, 2025. Students from the Pre-Primary Section to Class VII participated with great zeal and reverence.
The distinguished presence of Principal Mr Deepak Meryvn Mathews, Vice-Principal Mr Sachindra Bharti, and Primary Coordinator Ms Tazeen Rizvi lent grace and dignity to the event.
The programme, conducted by Ramiza Fatima of Class VII-A, commenced with the mellifluous recitation of Surah Rahman by Syed Mohammad Husain Naqvi of Class V-B, setting a spiritual tone for the morning.
To mark the luminous birth of the Prophet (PBUH), the girls of Classes VI and VII presented a moving qaseeda, echoing the love, compassion, and mercy embodied by him. This was followed by SyedaRafat Fatima of Class V-B, who presented five timeless sayings of the Prophet (PBUH), displayed on placards that enriched the message visually. The Pre-Primary students then charmed the audience with melodious couplets in praise of both the Prophet (PBUH) and Imam Jafar As-Sadiq (AS), leaving the assembly deeply touched.
A scholarly address was delivered by Senior Theology Teacher, Maulana Arshad Husain, who eloquently expounded upon the moral and intellectual legacy of the Holy Personalities, urging the young learners to imbibe their teachings in practice.
In his concluding remarks, Principal Mr Mathews extended heartfelt appreciation to the participants and organisers. He lauded the sincerity of the performances and counselled the students to cultivate honesty, diligence, kindness, and humility—the very virtues exemplified by the Infallibles. He emphasised that these values are not only the essence of faith but also the bedrock of true success.
The event, replete with devotion and grace, was unanimously acclaimed. It served as a gentle reminder of the eternal guidance of the Fourteen Infallibles and inspired all present to walk the path of virtue.
