On September 11, 2025, the Pre-Primary Section of Unity College came alive with the much-awaited Recitation Competition. Tiny orators from Lower Nursery, Upper Nursery, and Prep took the stage, ready to enchant the audience with their expressions.
The programme began with the soulful recitations of Mohammad Mehdi, Sadiqa Fatima, and Amina Fatima, who presented verses from the Holy Quran, the Bhagwat Geeta, and the Holy Bible, reflecting the school’s values of peace, unity, and respect for all faiths.
The Prep Section opened with engaging recitations such as ‘Perfection’, ‘Life Doesn’t Frighten Me’, and ‘Be the Best of Whatever You Are’. Their confident performances conveyed courage, self-belief, and the pursuit of excellence. Upper Nursery children captivated the audience with lively pieces like ‘I am Blessed’, ‘Animal Parade’, and ‘The Butterfly Song’, enriched with gestures, colourful costumes, and infectious joy. Lower Nursery participants charmed everyone with ‘Our World’, ‘Animal Song’, and ‘Be Safe, Be Bright’, using props and sincere expressions to bring their messages to life.
