SOWING SEEDS OF LEARNING

On October 18, 2025, a group of students from classes VIII, IX, and XI of Unity College visited the College Farm House at Charak to sow mustard seeds. The visit was aimed at providing students with practical exposure to agricultural practices and fostering an appreciation for sustainable farming.

The students were escorted by Counsellor Ms Nisar Fatima Rizvi and Teacher Ms IlaShahid, along with Farmer Mr Nasir Husain, who guided them through the process of preparing the soil, sowing seeds, and understanding the growth cycle of mustard plants. The hands-on experience enabled the students to learn by doing and gain valuable insights into eco-friendly farming methods.

Principal Mr Deepak Mervyn Mathews and Vice Principal Mr Sachindra Bharti appreciated the initiative, describing it as an enthusiastic hands-on activity and a powerful tool for promoting environmental awareness and healthy living practices among students.
