On 15th October, 2022, Science students of classes XI and XII attended the Seminar cum Workshop of Science and Engineering Research Board (SERP) organised by KGMU on the birth anniversary of the Missile Man, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Fatima Alam, Mohd, Aaqib and Sania Zehra of class XII B, and Alsheen Fatima, Alfiya Fatima and Nida Fatima of class XI B were escorted by Biology Teacher Ms. Huma Rizvi. 
The Seminar commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Gyanendra Kumar Sonkar- Principal Investigator of KGMU. Dr. Abbas Ali Mahdi - Professor and Head of the Biochemistry Department, KGMU addressed the students and talked about interferon, insulin, etc. Then Dr. Meeta Ghosh, Ex-Professor of Lucknow University, stressed on being passionate as well as motivational, while Dr. Sabra Habib, Ex-Professor of the same University, advised not to force students for studies.  
Dr. Thuppil Venkatesh, Lead Man Of India and an Advisor from WHO, who has a very close resemblance with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and Dean Dr. A. K Tripathi shared his words of wisdom that Science is everything, might be Philosophy, Art, or Humanity.  
In the afternoon session, students attended a Workshop in which they explored the usage of different tools and instruments like RT- PCR kit, GC- MS, GPLC, Gel Electrophoresis, ELISA, NanoDrop, Centrifuge, etc. 
The enriching workshop culminated with participation certificates to all the students.
