UNITY CLINCHES POPULAR CHOICE AWARD @ YAUM-E-IQBAL INAMI MUQABALA, BAZM-E-URDU, DUBAI
On 13th November,2021, Yaum-e-Iqbal InamiMuqabala was organised by Bazm-e-Urdu, Dubai via the online platform of YouTube. The event aimed at offering a rich tribute to the Great Urdu Poet Allama Iqbal, besides promoting and reviving the sweet language of the world at a young age for the future generations.
The participants were asked to upload their videos reciting the Nazms or Nagme of Allama Iqbal. The contest witnessed an influx of entries from India, Pakistan and UAE. Twenty videos were finalized as the best ones, out of which eight were of Unity students as named below:

Kudos to the College for showcasing a landmark rendering of poetry recitation with eloquence, expression and clarity. All the twenty selected names were put to test on viewers’ choice. Finally, Zehra MoosviVIII-B, bagged the Popular Choice Award with a cash prize of 50 dollars in the felicitation programme at the Centurion, Wave Mall, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow on 9th December. The rest seven participants too received Participation Certificates.
Principal Mr. Francis Castelino congratulated the students and Urdu teachers for the commendable performance on the International Platform.
