Unity College actively participated in Expression 2023, a vibrant Inter College Literary and Cultural Festival hosted at St. Francis College from October 26th to 28th. Over the course of the event, Unitians showcased their diverse talents across various activities.
On the first day, Syed Abeer Fatima and Mesbah Fatima from class XI engaged in an eloquent English Debate, delving into the topic 'Religious and Traditional Practices in Modern India.' Simultaneously, a team of ten students captivated the audience in the Elomime Competition, brilliantly combining acting skills with elocution to present Vikram Seth's poem 'The Frog and the Nightingale.' Furthermore, Zahara Raza and Mantasha Rizvi, also from class XI, exhibited their creativity in the Best out of Waste Competition.
Day 2 saw Midhat Fatima of class XI displaying her theatrical skills in the Mono Acting Competition. The artistic talents of Unity College students shone brightly in the Flower Arrangement and Collage Making Competition. Hal Ata Abbas and Innama Zehra crafted a vibrant flower arrangement. On the other hand, Aaraish Mehdi and Zahara Raza, both from class XI, created an imaginative collage themed around 'Khelo India Khelo.' The girls brought laurels to the College by bagging the II prize.
The concluding day witnessed a blend of literary and artistic expressions as Sahiha Rizvi and Rohma Arif, representing class XI and VIII respectively, eloquently debated in Hindi on the topic ' Bharat Me Nyaypalika Hi EkMaatrSanrakshan Hai'. Aaraish Mehdi from class XII and Sariya Khatoon from class XI showcased their creativity in the Face Painting Competition, leaving a lasting impression.
Expression 2023 served as a remarkable platform for Unity College students to demonstrate their literary and artistic talents, significantly enhancing their confidence levels.
