On Sunday, September 22, 2024, Unity FC Boys' Team proudly claimed the Runner-Up Trophy at the 10th District Football League, organised by La Martiniere College, Lucknow. The highly anticipated final match, held at the Polo Ground, saw Unity FC face off against Bryan Eleven. Despite a narrow defeat, the team's exceptional play captivated the spectators.
Ali Haider was awarded the Best Scorer for his outstanding performance throughout the tournament. The match began with a challenging first half, as Unity FC found themselves trailing 2-0. However, in the second half, the team regrouped, strengthening their defence and launching multiple attempts to score. Both the teams battled fiercely, but no further goals were added, leaving the final score unchanged.
Principal Mr Deepak Mervyn Mathews congratulated the players for their hard work and sportsmanship, recognising their determination and skill.
