    On 13thFebraury, 2021, the Times NIE organised ‘Online Learning Programme’- a virtual session of Orientation for the Parents of students from Class I to XII of Unity College.Since the contribution of Parents in the online learning is necessary, and cannot be overlooked, the session was arranged to abreast them with Coding and Computational Thinking and to connect them to the National Movement of Learning as per NEP. Addressing the parents and students, Ms. Aleena shared the success stories of Namya Joshi of age 13 andMedhansh Mehta of age 9who have amazed Microsoft CEO Mr. SatyaNadelawith theirMinecraft Sessions and Gaming App, respectively. She also talked about the importance of Coding in learning computer skills, creativity, decision making and confidence building. Then the attendees were introduced to different online courses offered by Whiz Juniors for different age groups. The courses coverdigital foundation, Logic Building, Coding, Designing, Animation, Mobile App Development, Artificial Intelligence and Ethical Hacking.It was followed by aninteractive Session in which Students as well as Parents were seen very enthusiastic and inquisitive about the courses. At the parents’ request, a Demo Session was organised on the following day, 15th February. Principal Mr. Francis Castelino is deeply appreciative of Times NIE for introducing thestudents to the right platform where they can apply innovative ideas and design thinking skills in a positive manner.
