Unity College's 19 UP Girls Battalion NCC cadets celebrated the momentous 75th anniversary of the National Cadet Corps on 13th July, 2023, with a vibrant 'Tree Plantation Activity' on their green campus. With a shared vision of preserving nature's beauty, restoring ecological balance, and combating pollution, 38 enthusiastic cadets, led by ANO Ms. Nilofer Jafri, joyfully planted saplings of Neem, Peepal, Sada Bahar, and more at various locations across the premises.
The Green Drive garnered the esteemed presence of Principal Mr. Francis Castelino, who, in his address to the students, highlighted the significance of not only planting trees but also diligently nurturing them. He emphasized that consistent care and attention are essential for the saplings to thrive and make a lasting impact.
The entire program stirred a profound sense of responsibility and passion among the participating students. These initiatives not only benefit the current and future generations but also contribute to creating a world that is cleaner, healthier, and more vibrant.
