On the vibrant day of 19th August, 2023, Unity College witnessed an enchanting spectacle of creativity during the Inter-house Collage Making Contest. This unique event, meticulously curated, not only celebrated artistic prowess but also kindled the flames of collaboration among the student body. A harmonious blend of imaginative fervour and social consciousness lay at the heart of this captivating affair.
With four representatives from each House, the Contest embraced diversity of thought and perspective in two categories - Junior and Senior. The Junior category unravelled the enigma of 'Single Use Plastic' with sheer aesthetic finesse, while the Senior participants embarked on an imaginative journey to paint a vivid canvas of 'India in 2047'. The entries breathed life into thought-provoking messages, using an array of mediums including magazines, newspapers, colored paper, fabric, and an assortment of craft supplies.
Gandhi House in Seniors and Iqbal House in Juniors performed exceptionally well and earned recognition for meeting the judging criteria. The event was evaluated by Ms.Neha Prajapati and Ms.BushraShadab, and the winning collages were displayed in the Central Hall as a beacon of inspiration for all.
Principal Mr. Francis Castelino complimented the triumphant students for orchestrating the visual symphony of creativity, innovation and burning blues.
