On 26thAugust, 2023, Unity College, Lucknow, proudly commemorated India's monumental achievement, “We are on the Moon!” The school united to mark this remarkable milestone, fostering an atmosphere of pride and inspiration.

The day commenced with a special assembly by the tiny tots of Pre-Primary showcasing the rocket launch. They were given details about Chandrayan-3 by their teachers.

The Seniors conducted a separate assembly. Speeches by Primary and Secondary students reverberated with the theme "Chandrayaan-3: India's Achievement and Inspiration for Future Space Explorations," emphasizing the significance of the achievement and its impact on future generations. The Secondary Section then conducted a knowledge-rich quiz on ISRO and Chandrayaan-3, engaging participants in dynamic learning.

Students from the Primary Section delved into the moon’s mysteries through Collage-Making and Drawing activities. For students in classes I and II, lively drawings of "Chandrayaan-3 and other Space Rockets" were the highlight, capturing the excitement of the day. Meanwhile, students in classes III to V embarked on a creative journey, crafting collages that showcased India’s lunar adventures, including Chandrayaan-3’s success.

The students from classes VI to XII participated in a captivating Essay Writing Competition, centered on the intriguing topic "India’s Journey to Space and Moon". They eagerly shared their thoughts on how India has ventured into the cosmos, acknowledging India’s remarkable achievements in space explorations, be it satellite launches, interplanetary missions, or the recent Chandrayaan-3 success. This competition not only honed students’ writing skills but also deepened their understanding of India’s strides in Space Science.

This momentous event left an indelible mark on the participants, fostering a sense of exploration and wonder, enriching their understanding of Space Science and motivating them to dream big.
