Amidst a vibrant atmosphere, Unity College Fraternity united on the morning of 15thAugust, 2023, to celebrate a resplendent Independence Day. The entire campus radiated in tricolor glory, resonating with fervent patriotic melodies. Joining this jubilant occasion were sister institutions - Unity College II Shift, Unity Technical Training Center, and Unity Veda College.
In a dignified ceremony, Secretary Mr. Najmul Hasan Rizvi, accompanied by esteemed Principals and faculty members, hoisted the National Flag. The serene strains of the National Anthem filled the air, encapsulating the essence of the moment. This symbolic gesture reverberated, setting the poignant tone for the day. Precisely at 9:15 a.m., the College Fraternity stood as one, harmoniously singing the Anthem in synchrony with the people of Lucknow.
Addressing the gathering, College Secretary Mr. Najmul Hasan Rizvi fervently urged the students to embrace the hard-earned freedom as a dynamic platform for national progress. He emphasized the imperative of establishing equality, equity, and justice for every citizen, calling on them to contribute to the building of the nation at its zenith.
A cascade of mesmerizing performances unfolded, showcased by the Morning and Evening Shift students. Profound speeches resonated in both English and Hindi, leaving a profound impact on the audience. The recitation of national poetry ignited a surge of patriotism, echoing the echoes of India's journey to freedom. The Morning Shift students delivered a captivating skit titled 'Wings of Will,' a tribute to the indomitable spirit of women, passionately advocating women's empowerment. The Evening Shift students, on the other hand, evoked the melodious essence of patriotism through their performance 'Bharat HamariShaan'. These heartfelt performances wove together a tapestry of India's struggle for freedom, nurturing a profound sense of national pride within the student body.

In tandem with the festivities, the College embraced the spirit of Van Mahotsav, symbolizing our dedication to a 'Green and Clean' India. Distinguished dignitaries joined hands to plant saplings within the premises, fostering eco-friendly ideals.
