On October 19, 2023, Commanding Officer Col. Deepak Kumar from the 19 UP Girls' Battalion visited Unity College. He was warmly welcomed by Principal Mr. Francis Castelino who accompanied him on a tour of the College.  He was greatly impressed by the well-equipped and well-maintained NCC room and the precise NCC drills and training conducted at the College. 

In his address to the NCC cadets, Col. Kumar commended their outstanding performance in the Certificate 'A' examination, where most cadets achieved an 'Alfa' grade. He also praised ANO Nilofer Jafri for her exemplary training and various activities throughout the session. Col. Kumar acknowledged the College's consistent support and guidance. He emphasized NCC's core principles, highlighting the importance of hard work, unity, and discipline, especially during challenging times. Col. Kumar also underlined the academic and vocational advantages available to NCC cadets, urging them to continue developing as future leaders and responsible contributors to the College and the Nation.

During the event, graduating cadets received their well-deserved Certificate 'A' from Col. Kumar, and the audience responded with a resounding applause. Vice Principal Mr. Sachindra Bharti expressed gratitude in his closing remarks. 

The cadets concluded the event by presenting the inspiring NCC song, fostering patriotism and unity among all attendees.
