On October 19, 2023, an enlightening session took place at the College, hosted by AMET University. Aimed at the Science Stream students. The session was conducted by Syed Ali Hussain and his team, showcasing the excellence of the Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET University), a prestigious private Deemed University based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Focused on maritime education and training, AMET stands as a unique, technology-driven institution in India.

During the session, students received detailed insights into the university's offerings, including Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs approved by regulatory bodies like Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and University Grants Commission (UGC). Additionally, students learned about the eligibility criteria for the Common Entrance Exam and explored International Collaborative Programs.An exciting highlight was the revelation of special scholarships, including those tailored for female cadets. 

Principal Mr. Francis Castelino proposed a vote of thanks and expressed his gratitude.
