Unity College exuded festive cheer on December 22, 2023, as it hosted a special assembly to celebrate Christmas. Amid the buzz of excitement, students and teachers alike gathered on the grounds for a joyous celebration. The stage was beautifully set, inviting everyone to partake in the festivities.

The assembly commenced with an enlightening insight into the essence of Christmas, emphasising the spirit of sharing, caring, and the significance of this revered festival. A thought-provoking parody, drawn from poignant moments in the pious life journey of Jesus Christ, highlighted the profound belief that while humans may harbor desires, it is ultimately God's purpose that prevails, guiding mankind towards the Best.

The programme included melodious renditions of timeless carols such as ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’ and ‘Prince of Peace,’ performed by enchanting choirs from both the Primary and Secondary Sections. Through these melodies, students imbibed the essence of sharing the joy of God's presence in our lives and embracing His boundless mercy.

Warm Christmas wishes and lovely cards were extended to the Principal, Mr Francis Castelino, and the Christian teachers, acknowledging their guidance and contributions. MrCastelino lauded the students and teachers for putting up a mesmerising show. He also emphasised the transformative power of love and urged them to cherish and foster relationships, promising that such bonds would illuminate the world with joy and peace.

Adding a sprinkle of magic, Santa Claus made a grand entry, eliciting gleeful excitement from the students. His presence amplified the festive fervour, and as he traversed the classrooms, distributing Christmas candies, love, and joy, making the celebration truly memorable.
