On December 18, 2023, Unity College played host to an extraordinary session that left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of its attendees. The distinguished guest for the day was none other than the esteemed Honourable ZainabRastgaarPanah, the Director General of Women and Family Affairs at the Ministry of Interior in Iran. The event was coordinated by Mr. Arshad Hussain, a revered Theology teacher at the College.

The event unfolded with a gracious welcome extended by the school's luminaries: Principal Mr. Francis Castelino, Vice Principal Mr. Sachindra Bharti, and Headmistress Ms. Kainaat Mansoor. Their warm reception set the tone for an afternoon that promised inspiration, knowledge, and empowerment.

Ms. Zainab, in her address, generously shared pearls of wisdom drawn from the wellspring of her own life experiences. Her words resonated with the importance of optimism, meticulous planning, and the undeniable significance of effort and sacrifice in the pursuit of success. With an eloquent touch, she explored the principle of "no pain, no gain," weaving in her personal journey and underscoring the unwavering companionship of the divine in every step of one's path.

The session transformed into an interactive dialogue, encompassing profound discussions on life's myriad facets, the essence of education, the pursuit of women's rights, and the delicate balance between modernity and spiritualism. Ms. Zainab, with grace and authority, encouraged the female students—especially those venturing into the realms of Science and Technology—to not only excel but to become catalysts for positive change in their nation. Her call for patriotism (HubbulWatan) resonated through the hall, accompanied by a heartfelt plea to empower others along the journey.

Delving into the spiritual realm, Ms. Zainab shared profound insights into various surahs from the Holy Qur'an, illustrating their universal relevance. Her guidance extended beyond the religious realm, advocating for a commitment to reading for awareness, knowledge, and rationality.

The culmination of this transformative session saw Dr. Syed Kalbe Sibtain Noorie, the Manager of UMS, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the invaluable lessons and perspectives that were generously shared.
