On April 15, 2024, the Pre-Primary Section of the College buzzed with festive cheer as the children celebrated Eid al-Fitr. Clad in their colourful Eid finery, the young learners exchanged greetings and warm wishes of ‘Eid Mubarak.’
In the spirit of giving, students in Class Prep honed their creative skills by making beautiful gift boxes. They used colourful wrapping paper and decorative items to create unique and personalised gifts.
The Lower Nursery class embarked on a fun and educational Eid activity. The children used various decorative materials to affix moons and stars, symbolising the sighting of the new moon that marks the end of Ramadan. Through this engaging activity, they learned about the significance of Eid al-Fitr and its traditions.
The Upper Nursery students donned their Eid attire and enthusiastically greeted one another. To commemorate the spirit of sharing associated with Eid, they enjoyed a delightful lunch together. They also crafted beautiful moon and star cards adorned with lollipops, adding a touch of festivity to the occasion.
The Eid celebrations in the Pre-Primary Section were a joyous and enriching experience for the children. Lollipops and chocolate cakes were distributed to each student. They not only revelled in the festive spirit but also gained valuable insights into the cultural and religious significance of Eid al-Fitr.
