STUDENT-LED AWARENESS CAMPAIGN GALVANIZES CITIZENS FOR VOTING RIGHTS @UNITY

In a remarkable display of civic activism, Unity College students from classes VIII and IX banded together to spearhead the Awareness Campaign across the vicinity, urging citizens to exercise their fundamental right to vote. With the upcoming elections looming large, the campaign aimed to awaken a sense of civic responsibility and engagement among the populace, and to remind them of the power they hold in shaping the future of their communities and their nation.

Classes VIII and IX escorted with their respective teachers, marched around the vicinity with speaking placards to awaken, to act and to vote. They talked with the shopkeepers and the passersby to utilise their enfranchisement and elect their choice.

Principal Mr Deepak Mervyn Mathews advised the students to urge the citizens from all walks of life to cast their ballots. He expressed optimism about this movement to make a significant impact on voter turnout and a more inclusive and vibrant democracy.
