The Investiture Ceremony for the Primary Section of the College was held on April 24, 2024, to recognise and honour students with exceptional leadership qualities who will be entrusted with the responsibility of leading our College during the academic year 2024-25. The event, graced by the Principal Mr DeepakMervyn Mathews, Vice Principal Mr Sachindra Bharti, Headmistress Ms Kainaat Mansoor, teachers, and students, commenced with the recitation of the divine verses of the Holy Quran, followed by the pledge.
The highlight of the ceremony was the official induction of the new student leadership team. Hyder Nasir and Abeeha Fatima of class V-Bwere adorned with the badges of the Jr Head Boy and Head Girl respectively. The Junior Captains, Vice Captains, and Prefects were then honoured with their respective badges by Primary and Pre-Primary teachers, signifying their elevated roles and responsibilities within the school community.
Following this, Mr Mathews, administered the oath of office to the new cabinet members, commending their hard work and dedication. He highlighted the introduction of the Junior Head Boy and Head Girl positions to provide students with a sense of responsibility and leadership early on. He emphasised the importance of hard work in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities, urging students to strive for excellence. Furthermore, he advised the cabinet members to fulfil their duties with the utmost responsibility and urged the entire student body to cooperate in maintaining discipline.
The cabinet members were congratulated by the Vice Principal Mr Bhartiand the Headmistress Ms Kainaat Mansoor and also encouraged to fulfil their responsibilities sincerely under the able guidance of their teachers, fostering a culture of teamwork and mutual support. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
In essence, the Investiture Ceremony was a testament to the College's commitment to nurturing leadership qualities and cultivating a culture of excellence and responsibility among its students.
