The Pre-Primary students of the College were a radiant bunch of yellow on April 16, 2024, as they celebrated Yellow Day! To mark the occasion, the children came dressed in various shades of yellow, from sunshine gold to mellow lemon. Their lunchboxes were filled with delicious yellow treats, complementing their vibrant attire.
The motive behind celebrating Yellow Day was to make the children aware of the colour yellow. Throughout the day, various activities were organised to help them explore the world of yellow. They brought along a yellow toy or object from home and shared a few words about it, sparking conversations and fostering their communication skills. Class Lower Nursery engaged in an activity where they affixed fragments of yellow paper onto the template of the sun, Prep children even got crafty, making adorable yellow duck headbands that they proudly sported throughout the day.
Yellow Day was a delightful way for the Pre-Primary children to learn more about colours and have some fun. It was a day filled with sunshine, laughter, and a newfound appreciation for the vibrant colour yellow.
