CELEBRATING RAMADAN AT UNITY

Ramadan is a time when Muslims across the world concentrate on their faith and contemplate. Fasting is a powerful way to empathize with those in need and be thankful for everything that we have.

To have a better understanding of the festival, the Pre-Primary section at Unity College held various Ramadan activities on 6th April, 2022 to infuse the young ones with acts of discipline and renew their faith and belief in Allah.

Lower Nursery students brought out their creative expressions by making tiny dua hands with their hand prints.

Upper Nursery students made magnificent miniature mosques using cardboard and other craft items inspired by traditional mosques.

Prep students crafted beautiful Dua books out of cut-outs of Dua hands, with prayers written on them.

These little hands with creative imagination displayed immense talent which left their teachers and heads awe-inspiring.

Such activities not only emphasize on significance of the festival but also remind us of our core values thereby learning self-discipline and becoming compassionate to those in need.
