Considering the importance of parents’ participation and involvement in school activities, and their mutual responsibility for children’s success in the educational system, Unity College organised a two-day Parents’ Orientation Programme on 19th and 21st April, 2022.
Day-one was for the parents of classes VI and VII students, while day-two, for classes VIII and IX. Addressing the parents, Principal Mr. Francis Castelino stressed on inculcating moral values to make their wards well-groomed, truthful, disciplined and punctual, and above all a good human. He exhorted them to be supportive parents as the young children need their support at every step.
Vice Principal Mr. Sachindra Bharti advised the parents to be friendly with their children, and also to keep a quiet check that they should lead a disciplined life, following their school as well as home timetables. They should be cautious of their children’s good health as well.
Towards conclusion, College Counsellor Ms. Nisar Fatima gave a few valuable tips for the wellbeing of the students. Ms. Nisar Fatima Rizvi also conducted a Special Session for Health and Hygiene with the mothers.
The session culminated with a positive impact on parents for the successful educational journey of each student.
