Unity College had the honour of hosting Prof UshaSanyal from Wington University, USA, for a two-day interactive session on the October 22, 2024. The session commenced with a warm welcome extended by Principal Mr Deepak Mervyn Mathews who introduced the esteemed guest to an eager audience. The event was seamlessly coordinated by Counsellor Ms Nisar Fatima Rizvi.

On the first day, Prof Sanyal engaged with the top-performing students from classes IX to XII. She delivered a motivational address, encouraging students to aim for the pinnacle of success. In her interaction, she posed thought-provoking questions, touching on topics such as the future transformations of the education system and the importance of mutual support. The students actively shared their aspirations and discussed their desire to contribute positively to society. A lively conversation ensued around the role of technology in shaping the future.

She also addressed the issue of overcoming socio-economic challenges within the Muslim community, providing insightful solutions to some of the economic problems faced in India.

In conclusion, the students found the session to be highly engaging and inspirational, with many noting how it enriched their communication skills. Vice Principal Mr Sachindra Bharti proposed a vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to Prof Sanyal for her invaluable contribution to the College.
