Unity College emerged victorious at the prestigious Bait BaaziMuqabla competition, organised by Bazm-e-Urdu, Dubai and hosted by Hoerner College, Mahanagar, on November 24, 2024.
The contest, which attracted eleven teams from various cities, showcased the exceptional literary talents of our students. The winning team, comprising Hal Ata Abbas (XII-A), Basirat Fatima (XII-D), ZaharaRaza (XII-A), Faris Abrar (XI-A), and ShazanMurtaza (VIII-A), mesmerised the audience with their impressive renditions of celebrated poets' couplets.
Their outstanding performance earned them a cash prize of Rs. 25,000/-, along with medals and certificates. Principal Mr Deepak Mervyn Mathews congratulated the winners and their teachers, emphasising that the true essence of winning lies not only in the eagerness of participants to succeed but also in the unwavering support and guidance of their teachers.
This remarkable achievement highlights the College's commitment to fostering academic excellence, literary appreciation, and cultural enrichment.
