The Pre-Primary Section of Unity College joyfully observed Republic Day on January 25, 2025, aligned with the upcoming Republic Day festivities. The event introduced young learners to the importance of this national occasion through innovative and enjoyable activities, inspiring a spirit of unity and patriotism.
The Lower Nursery pupils presented a lively ramp walk showcasing India’s national symbols. Dressed as the peacock, tiger, lotus, and other emblems, they beautifully embodied the country’s cultural identity.
Upper Nursery students engaged in a creative tricolour ice-cream making activity using paper tearing and pasting techniques. This hands-on experience allowed them to explore the vibrant colours of the National Flag while enhancing their fine motor skills.
Class Prep students displayed their ingenuity by crafting tank models with tri-colour sheets. This imaginative activity connected them to the valour of the nation’s defence forces and encouraged teamwork.
