It has rightly been said that the career guidance of the students is imperative to stimulate the learning process as well as support the most crucial deciding years of school. In pursuit of the same, a Career Counselling Workshop was organised at Unity College for ISC 2022 batch on 7th and 8th June. The session was conducted by College Secretary Mr. Najmul Hasan Rizvi and coordinated by Counsellor Ms. Nisar Fatima in a very comprehensive manner. Also present were their teachers, and the Intermediate students of Unity College II Shift. 

The session commenced with the welcome address by Vice Principal Mr. Sachindra Bharti. He motivated the students to be disciplined, sincere and determined in their academic pursuits.  

Mr. Rizvi proceeded the meet with inspiring words on every possible aspect that a child must adopt to be successful in life. He laid great emphasis on self-introspection, positivity, competitive aspiration, perseverance and time management. He exhorted them to work on their weaknesses, clarity of concepts, communication skills, impressive personality and computer literacy. 

He, then, apprised the students about various courses available in streams like Science, Commerce and Humanities. Whether they choose NEET, JEE, CDS, CSR, Para Medical Courses or Skill India, their preference should be a good institution and a right career path that is in tune with their skills and job experiences. He enumerated the role of the teachers that the child should rely upon for trustworthy guidance. He also took inputs from the teachers concerning the students' performance.  

In conclusion, students' queries were addressed. Mr. Rizvi wished each child to make his best contribution towards Nation building and progressive society.
