INTER-HOUSE ARTISTIC COMPETITIONS

A series of Inter-House activities were conducted at Unity College on April 19, 2025, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with creativity and enthusiasm.

The Primary Section of the College hosted an Inter-House Collage Making Competition to ignite creativity and artistic expression among young learners from classes I to V, each class working on a distinct theme. Class I depicted the ‘Beauty of Flowers’, symbolising diversity while class II highlighted ‘Environmental Conservation’. Class III explored a ‘Space Adventure’, whereas class IV focused on ‘Wildlife Conservation’. Class V celebrated India’s victory in the ‘Champions Trophy 2025’ with slogans like ‘East or West, India is the Best’. The event was judged by alumni Mr Syed Ali Jibran Rizvi, Software Testing Engineer at ZS Associates, Gurgaon, and Ms Andaleep Rizvi, a versatile professional who has worked as a Content Writer, Sub Editor, Reporter, RJ, and is also the Founder of Media Social, a PR and Digital Marketing Agency. Senior teachers Ms Asiya Ansari and Ms Farheen Fatima Naqvi also served as judges for the Collage Making Competition. Class V students later showcased their work with the Secondary and Senior Secondary Sections.

Another set of Inter-House Competitions—Collage Making, Flower Arrangement, and Salad Decoration—was held for the Senior Section. The event was graced by Jt Secretary Dr M Talha and Manager II Shift Dr S Kalbe Sibtain Noorie. Students competed in two categories: Junior (Classes VI to VIII) and Senior (Classes IX to XII). The competitions were judged by esteemed alumni from the 2021 batch—Mr Syed Ali Jibran Rizvi and Ms Andaleep Rizvi. Juniors creatively addressed the theme ‘Climate Change’ in their collages, while Seniors depicted ‘AI Changing the World’. The flower arrangements and salads reflected exceptional aesthetic sense, innovation, and health awareness. The judges appreciated the originality, effort, and teamwork displayed by the participants, making the event a vibrant celebration of talent and creativity.
