The Pre-Primary Section came alive with colour, creativity and festive cheer on October 3, 2025, as the young learners celebrated Dussehra with great enthusiasm. The occasion was graced by Principal Mr Deepak Mervyn Mathews and the Pre-Primary Incharge, Ms SabicaZehra, whose guidance and encouragement added inspiration and warmth to the vibrant celebrations.
Children eagerly participated in hands-on creative activities that combined artistic expression with cultural learning. Lower Nursery children filled their scrapbooks with bright fire scenes using feathers and popsicles, symbolising the burning of Ravana with energy and excitement. Upper Nursery pupils brought their miniature Ravanas to life using thermocol glasses, golden glitter crowns and moustaches, showcasing focus and creativity. Finally, Class Prep students decorated popsicle faces with colourful crowns and moustaches, portraying Ravana in a fun and imaginative way.
The celebrations were filled with laughter, curiosity and joy, as children not only explored their creativity but also absorbed the deeper significance of the festival – the triumph of good over evil. Principal Mr Mathews highlighted the importance of such activities in nurturing imagination, creativity and cultural awareness from an early age.
The event concluded on a cheerful and inspiring note, leaving the children with joyful memories and a clear understanding of Dussehra’s timeless message: that goodness, truth and courage always prevail.
