Unity College, in collaboration with Novelto, HelpU Educational & Charitable Trust, and LMA YMF, organised an AI Career Mentorship and Psychometric Assessment Programme on September 30, 2025, for class XII students. The initiative, held under the leadership of Secretary Mr Najmul Hasan Rizvi, aimed to give students career clarity, assess their strengths, and prepare them for future opportunities.
Students undertook an AI-powered psychometric assessment in the College Computer Laboratory and received detailed AI-generated career reports analysing interests, abilities, work style, and entrepreneurial potential. These reports will help students and parents make informed academic and career decisions. One-to-one counselling sessions by CBSE-empanelled and NCERT-certified counsellors will follow, covering streams such as CA, CS, CMA, management, vocational studies, AI, and other emerging fields. Workshops on Mental Conditioning and Forget Forgetting: Smart Study Skills are also scheduled.
CA Devesh Agarwal addressed the students on Chartered Accountancy, stressing the importance of technology, employability skills, and future trends in finance. Principal Mr Deepak Mervyn Mathews conceptualised and approved the initiative, extending full administrative support and motivating both faculty and students. Vice Principal Mr Sachindra Bharti efficiently managed resources, infrastructure, and coordination with external collaborators, ensuring smooth execution.
Teachers Ms Anjali and Ms Sneha were present to extend their support, while Ms Ghazala Jafri served as the nodal teacher in charge of coordination. The programme concluded with appreciation from students and parents, who described it as an insightful step towards structured career planning.
