ORIENTED PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION
The Wise Talks Solution-Oriented Public Speaking Competition for classes VI to X was held on November 11, 2025. This unique platform encourages students not only to hone their public speaking skills but also to become proactive problem-solvers in their communities. Participants were required to identify a relevant problem at the school, community, state, national or even global level, conduct research, and propose a practical solution. The event was organised under the guidance of Principal Mr Deepak Mervyn Mathews and Vice Principal Mr Sachindra Bharti, and coordinated by English teachers Ms Mahlaqua Siddiqui and Ms Sarah Abbas.
Students presented well-researched topics such as Poor Waste Management Near the School, The Impact of Screen Time on Academic Performance, Lack of Mental Health Awareness Among Youth, Rising Anaemia in Teenagers, The Decline of Regional Languages, Neglect of Art, The Phantom Economy and Its Role in Making Traditional Skills Obsolete, and the Digital Divide in the Community. Each presentation was judged on clarity of problem, quality of research, effectiveness of solutions, presentation skills, and Islamic integration. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation and thoughtful ideas.
